I will try again. Have a great Holiday with your son and girl friend. Have a great trip home. It was so nice to meet you and thank you for sharing some of your experience in Italy. I had such a great time.
When you get home, send me your address and I will send you a Xmas card with pictures from Italy. I am sure you have them all, but would like to send it.

I had lunch today at our fish place first time since you left . They have redone the place all painted a new front door looks good.the only thing that was missing was you.they have built a huge WalMart and SAMs with a gas station where the Wal mart Gro store was this side of 635 . All the kids started school today. I have three new drivers this year .All got cars . Hope you are enjoying yourself Besafe looking forward to your coming home. Marie

Boy was I surprised to talked to you today.i really enjoyed hearing about your travels.I feel like I’m there with you .more so when you talk about Rome and my favorite mountain towns I can picture it all in my mind.Are you going to do dog walking when you get back? Will write more later it’s late here got to get up early going to see my sister in Pottsboro in morning. Did I tell you Denny has Parkingston not the shakeing kind.Ellen is so worried about him. Ah! Trattoria Angiolino… what a jewel. There are several right in that area that are terrific. Glad you are back to enjoy Firenze. Heat wave is terrible all across southern Europe. Glad I am in cool Dallas!

I haven’t had wifi very good for several days. So,haven’t seen this before today. How awful to cost so much! That’s a lot of money that could be spent on FABRIC!!! A non rev on AA and Sally’s bus trip would be a better deal, but she only has one seat left on the bus…why don’t you email Beverly and set up a time and place to meet? She would love to see you. Did you ever start the squash quilt? You never will tell me!!! I’m starting on my bunny quilt this week. Evan bringing me some fabric mailed to him. Write again soon. I miss you and can’t wait for us to get together next spring when you get back from that fabulous cruise! Love you a jillion worth. Wish you were here too! Evan comes Sunday!!!

Leslie, hi. Not sure this will come through but thought I’d try. Your journal has been wonderful. Makes me wish I was with you. Also, I wish you were here to go to Houston with me. Sally sent the info on her trip which was so nice of her. Hope I get to meet her someday. Hope I’m lucky enough to run into Brverly at show. but I’m going with another gal from our small group. Now the bad news airfare on Southwest and hotel in Houston. We fly into Hobby airport. We are going for 2 days to show. Arrive nite before and leave on Sunday so 4 days 3 nites~$700 each!! Didn’t realize we had it so good at Marion’s! We’re staying downtown about a mile from convention center. There is a shuttle bus that takes us every day. The hotel is a Best Western. Having a car would have been so much better and staying at Marion’s was soooo nice. Oh well. Miss you love ya too Sylvia

Leslie, so glad you have visited so many of my favorite places. Remember the well, La Cisterna in San Gimignano? That’s where I spent New Years Eve 2000 (Dec 31, 1999)… standing on the well with a bottle or white wine in one hand and a bottle red wine in the other… or was that the other way around?!! It was a stunning place to watch the fireworks over the village. I love this area of Tuscany. And Siena! Ah, I love it more than Firenze. I’ll be there again on May 28 for the day. Am so enjoying your posts. Keep on enjoying and updating us. Ciao.
